The Junior League of Bronxville is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Through these Scholarship Awards, they hope to extend their mission by encouraging and rewarding young women who are making a positive impact in our community.

One-time $2,500 scholarships! The Sustaining Members of the Junior League of Bronxville announce their annual Positive Power and Cara Kealy Memorial Scholarship Awards. These two awarded scholarships, each in the amount of $2,500, will be given to two college-bound young women in their senior year of high school, who have demonstrated a strong commitment to volunteerism in their community, as well as academic excellence.

The application with all supporting documents must be emailed to jlbscholarships@gmail.com. The due date is April 26, 2017. The Scholarship Award Committee will judge the entries and the scholarship will be awarded at the 2017 Annual Junior League meeting on Thursday, May 25 at 7:00pm.

Students must submit 500-word or less, typed essay as described in the application, brief supporting letters, and an academic transcript.

YPIE Summer Program is committed to help students advance in their next year class subjects and explore their college options with college trips along with visits to well-known attractions afterward. The program begins June 26th, 2017, goes from
9 am-12 pm and will last five weeks until the last week of July. Sign ups will be available soon.
